Well after learning what a lot of us do for a living, I'm trying to get a better sense of who's out there. So, nice and simple, how old are you? Just curious...

I'm 36.

35, and my family listened to Good Morning Aztlan by Los Lobos during dinner. What a spirit-lifter. No wonder it's one of my favorite albums. Sometimes I forget...

Nah.. I wasn't mistrusting.. just skeptical. I am of the Socratesian forgotten youth. "Question everything", you know?

Hey, I don't want hear about you giving your wife a "free ride" if thats what they call it where you live! Kidding. My wife turned 50 in July and we were kidding her the AARP stuff would not be far behind. We had a party for her over the wee weekend and sure as shit the dreaded envelope was there in the mail Monday. Harsh reality. Maybe I should remind her she owes me a "free ride". Sorry to digress, its what us whippersnappers do. Peace out Duke.

I'm glad there's more out there that appreciate that song. I just couldn't keep my boogie-stuff from going to it when they played that song. And, yes, Jerry ALWAYS nailed that riff/solo. It was always a surprise to me that the whole place didn't fall apart when they played that.

BTW - I think we are some of the "wisest" people on this forum. (i'm only a few years behind 'ya).

Hey all you 36'ers out there. I'll be 36 in May and that made me wonder...Which 18 would you live again?

If you had to choose between years 0-18 or 18-36 to re-live, what would you do? Carefree kid or maturing adult?

I'd be an adult again. Little League, brothers and sisters, and mom makin' dinner are all REALLY good memories. BUT, the last 5 years w/ kids in my life trumps all of it.

43, which doesn't seem old until I remember how rough Jerry looked in 1985!!

After my most recent birthday some 30ish head friends joked "you're old enough to have baby sitted us!"

To which I replied "You're probably right, but I was too busy touring with the dead when you were kids to have been available!" lol.

yay!!! meds!!! lol

having fun with the torrents my friend :)

Looks like johnny may have the 12/27 show (not to step on your toes or the work you are doing for it - but he may be able to save you/us whoever the trouble and apparent aggravation - he's not positive if its lossless yet though)

if he's got it and the torrent thing drives you into a full blown rage - i can send you a copy :)

but, WHERE THE HELL IS THE CAPE COD SHOW!!!!! - lol (i crack myself up)
